Loves Rubberstamps Inspiration Day: Love You!

Happy Saturday Friends! It's my Inspiration Day over at Loves Rubberstamps and I have a fun card share for you all today!  I hope you're all having a fantastic weekend!

Here is my card...

Today, I have created a fun Valentine's card using the adorable Pure Innocence image called "Love You with All My Heart" by My Favorite things.  It's been a while since I've used one of these darling images and I had so much fun creating with this cutie! I colored her up with my copic markers and then paper pieced her dress and the heart she is is holding.  I also added some Wink of Stella to her shoes and her hair clip.  The fun papers I used are from Doodlebug Design called "Sweetheart".  These papers are definitely one of my favorite collections for V-Day and I just love them!  I created a cute heart border on the bottom using my  Martha Stewart heart punch border.  Now for the sentiment "Love You", this was created using the My Favorite Things new DIE-NAMICS set called Love & Adore You Die Set.  I  think it's such a fun and different look to use die cuts for sentiments rather than just stamping them which I tend to do.  To finish off my card, I added some scattered sequins and a pink heart button from my stash with some rope twine tied in a bow

Here is the full supply list for my card:
Love You With All My Heart - Pure Innocence CollectionMy Favorite Things
Friends are Flowers - Tiddly Inks
Sweetheart - Doodlebug Design
Spun Sugar - Tim Holtz distress ink
Heart Border Punch - Martha Stewart
Black Tuxedo - Memento Ink

Make sure to check out the Loves Rubberstamps store for all of the awesome stamps and Die-Namics by My Favorite Things which have just been recently added!

Hope you all enjoyed my V-Day card and have a wonderful weekend!

Hugs,

Marcy

Loves Rubberstamps Inspiration Saturday: Love You Always!

Hello Friends and Happy Saturday!  I have a fun Valentine's Day card to share with you all for today's Inspiration Day!

Here is my card...

So my inspiration came from a card by Kristina Werner in which she made a background by water coloring with distress inks.  You can find her beautiful card here!  I just have so much fun water coloring and am loving all the great techniques I'm seeing out there.   I took some Tim Holtz water color paper (Oh no, my last piece!) and then added lots of water and some fun Tim Holtz distress inks in shades of pinks and purples.  And voila... a fun and pretty cool looking background!!!  The adorable image on my card is by Tiddly Inks called Friends are Flowers.  I had so much fun coloring up cute Wryn with my Copics.  I also added some polka dots to her dress with my white gel pen and then Wink of Stella all over her outfit  and heart flowers.  The sentiment was stamped onto my paper using Versamark Ink and then embossed with some white embossing powder from my stash.  Of course, I couldn't resist scattering some sequins all over my card!

Here is the full supply list for my card:
Friends are Flowers - Tiddly Inks
Seedless Preserves - Tim Holtz distress ink
Picked Raspberry - Tim Holtz distress ink
Spun Sugar - Tim Holtz distress ink
Shaded Lilac - Tim Holtz distress ink
Water Color paper - Tim Holtz
Black Tuxedo - Memento Ink

Hope my card gives you some inspiration to try some water coloring and playing with distress inks!

Enjoy your weekend and thanks so much for stopping by!

Marcy

Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge: Cheers!

Hello! Hope you all had a great weekend and that some of you were able to enjoy the longer holiday weekend.  It was really nice to have the extra day to recoup from the last few weeks! And with my crafty time, I have fun card to share with you!

But before we get to that, let me  get to the theme of the challenge this week which is The Letter "B"!  Use as many things that start with the Letter "B" on your card as you can.
Our  fabulous sponsor is Bugaboo Stamps!

Here is my card...

I had a lot of fun with this challenge although I had some other "B's" in mind and then by the end of the card, my B's changed! LOL  My B's are: Butterfly Image, Blue Color, Doily Border and Bling!  My first thought was to use some sort of Butterfly image so Ima Butterfly by C.C. Designs was perfect for this.  I colored her with lots of Blue Copic Markers and paired her with some fun bright papers from Doodlebug Designs called Hip Hip Hooray!  I also added a Martha Stewart Doily Border punch behind the image, some Prima Marketing flowers and some bling!

Here are the additional supplies used:
Salty Oceans - Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Black Tuxedo - Memento
Mono Multi Liquid Glue - Tombow

Thanks so much for stopping by and hope you will all play along in this fun challenge!

Hugs,
Marcy

Loves Rubberstamps Saturday Inspiration: Hello!

Happy Saturday Friends!   I'm here with some inspiration today!  If you are following the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge this week, you know that the theme is to ink up with a color other than black.  I thought this would be the perfect time to practice some "no line" coloring!  So even though the challenge started last Tuesday, I thought it would be fun to continue the theme into the weekend with my Inspiration Day!

Here is my card...

The sweet image I used is from a set called Miss Anya Scarves by The Greeting Farm.  This is the first time I've used this collection so it was a lot of fun!  I really like this technique too because you have to be extra careful with your coloring which always helps me to concentrate more on the details of the image.   I stamped up Anya in Desert Sand by Memento Ink and then colored her up with my copics.  I added some Wink of Stella to her hat and scarf to give her some shimmer.  At the bottom of my card, I used the Die-Namics Scallop Border Trio Set from My Favorite Things.  I added some fun rhinestones to the border as well as some scattered around Anya.  I also couldn't resist pulling out some flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts including these cute white crochet flowers!

Here is the full supply list for my card:
Miss Anya Scarves - The Greeting Farm
RSVP - Basic Grey
Die-Namics Scallop Border Trio Set - My Favorite Things
Desert Sand - Memento Ink
Flowers - Wild Orchid Crafts

I'm really happy with the way my card came out and I hope you all like it too!  There's still time to join in the challenge so stop on by the Challenge Blog to see the details.

Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Hugs,
Marcy

Loves Rubberstamps Inspiration Saturday: I Love You!

Hello!  I'm here with another Loves Rubberstamps Inspiration Saturday for you!  Hope you've had a great week and are all enjoying the brand New Year 2015 so far!!! I have a simple but fun card I've made to share with you all!

Here it is....

Today, I decided to take a little break from coloring and I felt like playing with some dies and background stamps.  One of my favorite companies for this is My Favorite Things!  They have the cutest background stamps and dies and so many to choose from! I wish I could have them all!!!  For my card, I used the fun MFT BG Gingham Background Stamp!  I love gingham and this background is so versatile for so many occasions.  Although the last few times I've used it, I stamped in red, I'm thinking this would be so pretty in blues and yellows too!  Definitely going to try some new colors.  Now for my layered hearts,  this die is called Hearts Die-Namics also by My Favorite Things.  Super fun to use and it even has small holes where you can add some stitching.  I decided to do just that with some thin red ribbon from my stash and I love the look of it.  The sentiments were stamped on kraft using a Doodlebug Designs stamp set and I went over the hearts with my Wink of Stella gllitter to give them some shimmer.  To finish off my card, I added a sprinkle of some sequins which I love to do on almost all of my cards! :)

Here are the supplies used on my card:
BG Gingham Background Stamp - My Favorite Things
Hearts Die-Namics - My Favorite Things
Sentiments - Doodlebug Designs

Make sure to check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to see all of the great MFT stamp sets and Die-Namics.  You can also pre-order some of the sets.

Have a great weekend and thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs,
Marcy

Hello Friends and welcome to a new Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge today!  Hope you are all enjoying your week so far!  It's been a little bit of adjustment for me moving away from "Holiday" mode and back to a normal busy work and school week!  Still, I'm excited that so far, I've been pretty organized in the new year...even though it's still barely beginning! LOL

So on to our challenge...this week's theme is the popular "Anything Goes"!!!

Our fabulous sponsor is Shape EZ by TLC!!!

Shape EZ by TLC

Here is my card:

This sweet little image is called Dare to be Gwen by Some Odd Girl!  She's been sitting on my crafty desk for some time so I was so happy to finally be able to create a fun card with her!  She is just so adorable and I had so much fun coloring her up with my Copic Markers.  Of course I had to add lots of wink of stella and some white polka dots with my white gel pen to her dress!  I also had fun doing some additional embellishing with some Roses from Wild Orchid Crafts, sequins, pearls and some fun white trim I had in my stash.  The fun sentiment and banner it is stamped on also comes from this wonderful stamp set.  I do love this sentiment and it is a great one for the New Year, right?!! :)  Oh and the pretty papers are from a collection called Fabulous  by Simple Stories.

Here are some additional supplies used:
Black Tuxedo - Memento
Peacock Feathers - Tim Holtz Distress Ink

I hope you all play along this week and also continue to join us this new year for a lot of fun and exciting things to come!  Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great week!

So what better way to ring in the brand New Year but create a card using cute Holiday Anya 2 from The Greeting Farm!!!  She's still one of my favorites and so perfect for Holidays!  I had fun coloring Anya up with my Copics and added lots of my Wink of Stella Glitter to make her shine!  I felt like creating a fun shaker card and added lots of blue and teal sequins to the shaker window.  I embossed the base of my card using some polka dots but also used some fun papers called Frosty Friends from Doodlebug Designs. For my handmade banners, I made them using some glitter tapes and trims I had in my stash

Here are the Supplies Used on my card:
