Loves Rubberstamps Challenge using Kenny K's Milkshake

Hello and welcome to Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge!!! I hope everyone is having a great week!  This week's challenge is called "Have a Heart" and we were asked to use a heart somewhere on our project.  This was a perfect challenge to get in another Valentine's Day card.  This one is going to my hubby!:)

Our wonderful sponsor for the week is the fabulous Kenny K!

Here is my card...

This Kenny K image is called "Milkshake".  So super adorable and I had so much fun coloring up this fun image with my copics!  The paper collection I used is by Bo Bunny called Love Letters.  This paper has a lot of beautiful designs which can be used for other non-Valentine's events as well.  I  edged all of the papers with my Tim Holtz distress ink in Frayed Burlap. The cute red roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I sprayed these up with Tattered Angels Iridescent Gold, my favorite top coat.  I glued the roses down using Best Glue Ever.   I had no problem adding hearts for this challenge! In fact, I loved adding several including the red heart trim from The Piece by Piece, the pink heart rhinestones by Recollections and the small silver heart from my stash which says Love.  I also added the ticket stub with the phrase "Hey Stranger" which I stamped with my favorite Memento ink in Black Tuxedo.   I thought this was cute on the card as well.  This ticket stamp comes from a Whimsy stamp collection called The Fun Life Tickets. I am on a roll with these adorable tickets. I think I have used them on almost all of my projects this last month! I absolutely love them!!!

Please check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to see supplies used on my card.  Also, check out the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge blog to see what other  projects the rest of the Design Team made.  If you want to join this fun challenge, I'll post the details below and you could have a chance to win some great prizes form the store. Loves Rubberstamps "Sensational Sunday Inspirations" using Kenny K's Hot Weave

Hello and Happy Sunday!  Hope everyone is having a great weekend! After a few days of rain and gloom, the sun finally peeked out so that was really nice to have some good weather.  It was perfect for some birthday and family events we had as well. I did have some time to get some crafting done as well!

And here is one of my projects just in time for Loves Rubberstamps Sensational Sunday Inspirations!!!

Here it is...

This card is for a friend of mine at work.  This friend loves blue so I made sure to add a ton of it!  The adorable image I used is from Kenny K called Hot Weave.  Kenny K has tons of fun images and I thought this one was perfect! I stamped her image using my memento ink in Black Tuxedo and then colored her up with my copics (mostly in blues!).  The paper collection I used is one of my favorite, Prima's Fairy Flora.  This paper is so soft and pretty and comes in different colorful backgrounds so it can be used for many projects.  I distressed all of the papers using my Tim Holtz distress tool and  then used my Tim Holtz distress ink in Broken China to edge the papers.  All of my blue flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I sprayed them with Tattered Angels Iridescent Gold.  These flowers were all glued down using Best Glue Ever by ScraPerfect.  The sentiment is from the Whimsy Stamps The Fun Life Tickets. I thought it was perfect for my friend's birthday and this card.  The pretty blue trim is from Sahafuha on Etsy and the bling is from Recollections.

Please be sure to check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to find Kenny K stamps and other supplies used on this project.  Also check out the Loves Rubberstamps blog to see what the rest of the design team made and to also have a chance to win some vouchers from the store (See details below) .

SSS Card using artist Sherri Baldy's Rose and the Titantic

Hello Blogger Friends and Happy Saturday! I wanted to quickly share a card I made for Scrapbook Stamp Society using an image by artist Sherri Baldy called Rose and the Titanic.  This sweet Rose was super fun to color up.  The papers I used are from Prima called Reflections. I also used some Bazzil cardstock in lilac for the sentiment and to cover the base of the card. The sentiment is from a fun Whimsy stamp collection called The Fun Life Tickets.  This is going as a birthday card so I thought the sentiment was perfect.  The flowers are a combo from Wild Orchid Crafts and I am Roses. I sprayed them up with Tattered Angels Iridescent Gold to give them some shimmer.  I also add the small bouquet of tiny roses  to further embellish the ticket.  I like the way that came out! The ribbon is from my stash at home and the pink pearl bling is from Recollections.  Hope you all like my card and hope you're all having a great weekend! After the few days of rain here, the sun has finally decided to come out so I'm thrilled! :)

Copic Colors used:
Skin: E000,E00, E21, R20, YG95

Loves Rubberstamps challenge using Cocoa's Latte

Hello and Happy Tuesday!  Hope your week has started out well and if you are lucky to have had the Martin Luther King Holiday, that you were able to enjoy your extra long weekend.  I was not feeling very well Monday but it worked out to have this extra day to rest and get ready for my hectic week. I did have a chance to get working on some projects and that included my project for the Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday challenge!

Our wonderful sponsor for this week is Sweet 'N Sassy Stamps!

Our challenge this week was to look at the website: www.kirklands.com and to be inspired by a product there.

Here was my inspiration:

Not sure if you can see it too well but It is a set of canvas art showing two cute baristas serving some hot java!

Here is my card...

The Design Team was fortunate to get some Sweet 'N Sassy digi images and I thought this cute image called "Cocoa's Latte" was perfect for it! You might remember this sweet mouse who I also used in one of my Christmas projects some weeks back.  This mouse is just so super adorable and I had so much fun coloring him up with my copic markers.  I paper pieced the latte cup using a new paper collection in the store called Cashmere Dame by Glitz.  I also used these papers in the background. I love Glitz  and this collection is so pretty.  I edged all of the papers with my Tim Holtz distress ink in Frayed Burlap. The flowers I used are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I sprayed these up with Tattered Angels Iridescent Gold.  I glued the flowers down using Best Glue Ever.   The sentiment is from a Fiskars stamp set I have at home and I thought it would be cute to stamp right on the image.  I used my Memento ink in Black Tuxedo to do so.  I'm really happy with the way it came out!

Loves Rubberstamps "Sensational Sunday Inspirations" using Tilda with Dove tag

Hello and Happy Sunday!  Hope everyone is having a great weekend! I'm so happy that this weekend is a long one for me due to the Martin Luther King holiday on Monday.  So that means more time for everything including crafting!!! :)

Today's project was one I put together pretty fast and I'm really happy with the way it came out.  Thank goodness my mojo was working! LOL

Here it is...

I decided to make a tag with today's project and I felt like making something "Multi Media Art" like so I whipped out some of my favorite Tattered Angels sprays, glams and glazes as well as some distress inks to play with!  Before, I get into that, the star of my tag is the cute Tilda With Dove by Magnolia.  I'm so excited that we are carrying more and more of these cute Tilda stamps at the store.  I stamped her image using my memento ink in Black Tuxedo and then colored her up with my copics.  She is so adorable!  So the tag is made using one of those older Tattered Angels Chip Tiles. I don't even think they carry them anymore since they focus more on their colors mediums now.  But I absolutely love these tiles and hoarded a lot of them when they went on sale. :) They have different designs and I believe the one I used is from the "Nature" Collection.  I covered up my tile in several of my favorite Tatttered Angels sprays, glams and glazes. I wont go into all of those because I used so many! LOL  I then used my Tim Holtz distress ink in Frayed Burlap to edge the tile and also to further define some of the embossed sections which made it pop out more.  I punch a hole with a large eyelet on top and added some pretty brown ribbon from my stash and voila, a cute tag!:)  I laid cute Tilda on some green burlap trim which is from Karla S001 on Etsy.  The cute brown butterfly is also from her store.  I added some Wild Orchid Crafts roses and cherry blossoms in some matching tan colors and then some Candy Dots in Coffee Bean to further embellish.  These flowers and dots were all glued down using Best Glue Ever by ScraPerfect.  Finally I decided to add a bird charm hanging down on the ribbon to match the cute bird Tilda is holding.  The charm was actually silver but I used my Tim Holtz alcohol inks to make him bronze!  Gotta love being able to alter things so easy these days! :)

Please be sure to check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to find supplies used on this project.  Also check out the Loves Rubberstamps blog to see what the rest of the design team made and to also have a chance to win some vouchers from the store (See details below) .

Hope you all like my Tilda tag!  Thanks for stopping by and have a great week ahead! :)
